Why write a blog or publish a website if nobody reads it? You must distribute your blog to as many locations as possible to maximize your marketing efforts.

Blog distribution can be performed with very little time and effort. It can be done for free or also using a paid service.

The initial setup to automate your blog distribution will take a little time, but once your “plugged in”, the process is unbelievably quick and effective!

There are 4 spokes to the “blog distribution wheel”. They are as follows:

1) Social Media 2) Bookmarking 3) Syndication 4) Subscriber List

I am very confident that if you consistently use these 4 aspects of content distribution on your blog or website, your list of subscribers will grow on a steady long-term basis. Remember, you must provide real content to keep followers.

For this article I will touch lightly on each aspect of blog distribution.

Social Media includes Facebook, Facebook Groups, Google Plus, and Twitter. These are my main ones and are all great avenues to share your blog. It is quite tedious to manually distribute your blog on each of these, so I recommend Social Media Bar and Post Planner.

Bookmarking is the second spoke in the blog distribution wheel. This includes, but is not limited to, Digg, Delicious, and StumbleUpon. You can manually distribute your blog content to these sites directly or you can use a site called Fiverr.com to hire it out for 5 dollars. This service will also include many other bookmarking sites.
