
A friendly inquisitive little bird the Yellow-throated
Scrubwrens often come right up to you. They spend most of their time on the
forest floor in search of insects etc. They form permanent pair bonds with the
male feeding the female during and after courtship.
Size
120-135 mm
Nest
Untidy, globular structure, made of dark rootlets, palm fibre, skeleton leaves,
twigs, ferns, mosses and dry grasses, decorated with moss or lichen.
