
The Australian Woodfrog is the
only member of the family Ranidae found in Australia and it is only found
in North Eastern Queensland. However it is widely distributed in the lowlands of
New Guinea, New Britain and the Aru Islands.
It inhabits rainforest,
seasonally-dry monsoon forests and tropical woodlands.
