Spectacled Monarch
Monarcha trivirgatus

An inquisitive and friendly flycatcher the
Spectacled Monarch is often seen flitting through the rainforest in search of
its insect prey.
Size
14-16 Centimetres.
Nest
Cup in fork of sapling usually at eye level, beautifully decorated with
moss and scraps of lichen.
Eggs
Two to three, white, spotted and blotched in reddish
brown.
