Rainbow Lorikeet
Trichoglossus haematodus

The Rainbow Lorikeet is one of Australia's more flamboyant parrots. They are a fruit and nectar eater which often raids commercial fruit crops where they destroy a huge amount of fruit. They are gregarious and form large noisy flocks which travel long distances in search of food.
