Male pademelons become sexually mature at around 16 months of age. Rainforest is their preferred habitat where they feed on a variety of fruits, leaves and fungi. Of an evening they venture out of the forest and feed on grasses along the forest edge. Their predators are domestic dogs, cats, Dingos, Tiger Quolls and large Amethystine Pythons.
