Grey-headed
Robin
Poecilodryas albispecularis

The call of the
Grey-headed Robin is one of the characteristic sounds of the montane
rainforest of north eastern Queensland. It is usually not found
below about 300 meters. This very attractive and robust little bird
often perches motionless sideways on the trunks of trees then darts
quickly to the ground where it hops briskly with a very upright
posture. Often heard more than seen.
