Brown Pigeon, Macropygia amboinensis

Brown Pigeon, Macropygia amboinensis feeding on the fruit of Wild Tobacco. Found down the east coast of Australia from Cape York to northern Victoria. Also know as the Bronze Cuckoo-dove or the  'Did-she-walk' pigeon. They eat a wide variety of native and introduced fruits often coming to the ground to ingest grit.
