Brown Pigeon,
Macropygia
amboinensis feeding on the fruit of Wild Tobacco. Found down the east coast
of Australia from Cape York to northern Victoria. Also know as the
Bronze Cuckoo-dove or the 'Did-she-walk' pigeon. They eat a wide variety of
native and introduced fruits often coming to the ground to ingest grit.
